Full Quieting
The term "full quieting" in ham radio usually signifies a good quality signal on a repeater or FM transmission - it means that your signal is clear, free of static, and easliy readable by others. At KC HamLink, we use it to describe a series of papers and articles on specific technical topics written for newly licensed operators. Review the list below and pick topics that are of interest to you and enjoy the hobby.
We suggest you read the "Doing Your Research" article first, as it will help you put all the other articles and other sources of information into context. You will also find the article "Now What" to be a good, comprehensive (although a bit long) discussion of many of the issues that face new hams.
